Natural Wound Care
Balm contains esential oils and herbal extracts which enable
faster healing of wounds, without scar formation. The Tea Tree
Essential Oil prevents infections working actively against:
Gramm positive bacteria:
Betha hemolytic streptococci, Streptococcus pyogenes,
Streptococcus faecalis, Enterococcus faecalis , Staphylococcus
aureus i Staphylococcus aureus rezistentan na meticilin,
Staphylococcus epidermidis.
Gramm negative bacteria:
Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella species,
Legionella spp. Proteus mirabilis ,Proteus vulgaris
,Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Fungi and molds:
Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus, Candida albicans,
Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum.
The essential oils
of Lavender and Chamomile Roman reduce inflammation. Evening
Primrose and Tamanu Oil help faster formation of new tissue in
the stage of proliferation, and help wound remodeling. The
Chilean Wild Rose Oil actively help epithelisation process ,
preventing a scarf formation. Extracts of St John's Wort,
Yarrow and Marigold also help faster wound healing and act
anti inflammatory.
Application:
Twice a day apply
on the wound surface with the obligatory bandage of wound
along with the change of dressings.
Worning:
Keep wound dry,
protected with bondages. Avoid smoking, because nicotine as a
hypoxyc agent directly contribute to the slower wound healing.
Avoid alcohol. In case of diabetic wounds, try to keep
glucose blood levels close to the normal values. Keep
cholesterol and triglyceride levels inside normal values.
